A fun photo day with my kids | Kitsap County Photographer

The sun has been peeking out here and there, so I took my girls out for some photos. It's always a challenge to get a picture of my twins together -- much less LOOKING at the camera! Today, I bribed them with some strawberry cream cookies their grandma sent them in the mail. 30 minutes and a cookie bribe later, I got one shot of them both looking at me :)



For a fun, more candid, shot of them together I asked them to play ring around the rosy. They are always up for that.




Earlier in the day, Kylie and I stopped off along Marine Drive to take get some shots by this building that has really cool windows on one side.



And, if there is one thing a city by the water is good for, it's grassy hills. This particular hill was on the other side of the building with the cool windows. It is amazing to me how many wonderful photographic pockets are just about anywhere you look.



Yes, she cut her own bangs. Every little girl has to do at least once, right? I'm pretty sure I did it more than once.

I guess we had to get to know the Bremerton Hospital eventually...

My husband had his appendix removed last Sunday and finally made it home this afternoon. Harrison hospital is fantastic, and they took great care of him. We are ALL so glad he is home and recovering well.

I took the moment to capture some photo journalistic photos of the home coming. I will share one that I like a lot of our 4 year-old snuggled in her dad's sweater. The look on her face shows how much she loves her daddy.

Sisters, and Best Friends.

Well, the time has come when my last babies were ready for their first haircut. Granted, they are turning 3 the day after Thanksgiving, so I have made a good run of their "babyhood". They love each other so much, and refer to each other as "My best friend".

Welcome to my new blog!

I am very excited to be launching a brand spankin' new blog to keep clients up to date about what's new at L. Stokes Photography.

One exciting piece of news is that I am about to launch a new shopping cart on my website! No more writing down proof numbers and emailing me your order.
